Community Wildfire Protection Plans
In Taos County, Community Wildfire Protection Plans (CWPPs) are the foundation for hazard risk assessment, joint project prioritization and collaborative, community-based treatment implementation. Below are current CWPPs for Taos County as well as several at-risk neighborhoods.
The Taos County CWPP Core Team is tasked with ensuring that the contents of the countywide CWPP are updated, and that all partners follow through with the various actions described in the plan. To be included on the CWPP Core Team email list, contact the Taos County WUI Coordinator via email.
